PCAD sends appraisal notices to Parker County property owners
More than 78,000 property owners in Parker County received a 2025 Notice of Appraised Value letter from the Parker County Appraisal District in their mailbox last week. The notices represent PCAD’s reappraisal estimate of each property’s market value as of Jan. 1.
This year’s reappraisal effort is part of PCAD’s regular cycle and aligns with the School District Property Value Study conducted by the Texas Comptroller’s Property Tax Assistance Division. The SDPVS is a state-mandated audit designed to ensure local property values are appraised at or near 100% of market value, as required by law. Accurate appraisals are critical to ensure the fair and equitable distribution of state funding for public education.
