Walnut Creek SUD receives clean audit report

Walnut Creek Special Utility District received the results of its annual audit report at its April 21 board meeting.

Kyle Caperton of MCPA, PA, an accounting firm in Forney, presented the audit’s findings to the board of directors. Caperton said this was the first audit he has completed and out of eight special utility districts and twelve water supply corporations the company has audited, Walnut Creek was its largest one yet.

Caperton started by stating the audit looked at Walnut Creek’s company financial statements and the businesstype activities of 2024.
