The Springtown senior center is back!

Springtown Senior dances resume April 12 after repairs

The Springtown Senior Center, located off North Main Street, will be back swinging Saturday, April 12 after storm damage caused it to close for about four weeks for repairs.

In the early hours of March 4, a strong line of thunderstorms with high winds swept through North Texas and caused a great deal of damage to many homes and businesses, including the senior center. Early March 5, Senior Center Director Tootie Hall got a harrowing call saying the overhang and parts of the roof of the senior center were completely gone.
