PC ESD 1 considers annexing Reno after petition submitted

A citizen group’s petition for the city of Reno to be annexed into Parker County Emergency Services District No. 1 remains under consideration by the district’s board of commissioners as it seeks additional information.

ESD 1’s board conducted a public hearing Monday, March 31 into the possibility of the annexation of the tracts of land located in the area known as the city of Reno.

Parker County ESD 1 Chief Stephen Watson began his presentation to the board with a brief overview of what responsibilities ESD 1 has, how an ESD is structured and what led to the special meeting being called.
