Springtown mayor declares April 6-12 National Library Week

On March 18, at a regular city council meeting, Springtown Mayor Greg Hood proclaimed the week of April 6-12 National Library Week in the city of Springtown.

“Today’s libraries are more about what they can do with and for their communities and not just about what they have on the shelves,” Hood said. “Libraries have long served as trusted institutions, often the heart of their cities, towns, schools and academic campuses.”
