On Saturday, April 12 from 1 to 3 p.m., the city of Reno will host its annual Easter celebration. This Easter event will be all about family-fun, community oriented and located at Reno Elementary School. Jody Bas, the wife of Reno Mayor Hector Bas, said this event will consist of Easter-themed activities and special family photos.
“We’re taking over Reno Elementary School for an egg hunt with some extra special prizes, cake walk, coloring contest, face painting and photos with the Easter Bunny,” Bas said.
For the egg hunt, there will be three groups separated by ages. The first age group will be from infants to age 4, followed by 5 to 8-year-olds and then kids aged 9 and older.
