Springtown Mayor declares April 13-19 National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

On March 18, Springtown Mayor Greg Hood proclaimed April 13-19 National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week in the city of Springtown to honor and recognize public telecommunicators who are the first to respond to citizens calls and communicate with first responders.

“The safety of our police officers and other emergency personnel is dependent upon the quality and accuracy of information obtained from citizens who telephone the Springtown emergency communications center and public safety telecommunicators are the first and most critical contact our citizens have with emergency services,” Hood said.
