Chamber names executive director

The Springtown Area Chamber of Commerce has a new executive director.

Taylor Blackburn was named the chamber’s executive director March 7 at the Springtown chamber banquet.

Blackburn wasn’t born in this area but is very familiar with Springtown as she grew up here. Her family lived behind White’s Funeral Home for several years. She went to Springtown Elementary School before her parents began homeschooling her. Blackburn has even participated in Springtown’s most historic events.
