On March 11, all members of the Springtown city council attended a workshop meeting to discuss the possibility of opening a new animal shelter due to overcrowding and lack of space.
Springtown City Administrator David Miller and Assistant City Administrator Christina Derr opened the meeting with some background about the pressing issues the current animal shelter faces.
