On Saturday, March 15, the city of Springtown Animal Control hosted a fundraising and adoption event as well as a silent auction at the Tabernacle in the historic Springtown square.

Animal Control offered three dogs and a puppy for adoption. There was also a supply drive for those who wanted to donate supplies to the shelter like treats, cat food, crates and more. The event started at 9 a.m. and ended around noon.

The puppy up for adoption is an almost 3-month-old black Labrador retriever named Milwaukee. The three dogs are a 2-year-old mixed breed named Paul, a 4-year-old terrier/pit-bull/blue heeler mix named Freckles and a 1-year-old chocolate Labrador/pit-bull/retriever mix named Rocket.
